Our Story
Welcome to In The Dog House, Stafford's luxury doggy day care centre, founded by Stella Hudson. After years of success in the dog grooming industry, Stella decided to expand her passion and expertise by opening this state-of-the-art facility located in the Paul Reynolds Centre.
In The Dog House boasts three spacious rooms tailored for different dog sizes, filled with a variety of engaging play toys, including tunnels, ball pits, sofas, and even TVs! Our centre is fully climate controlled to ensure your furry friends are comfortable whatever the weather!
What truly sets us apart is our exceptional staff. Each team member is highly trained, holding at least a level 3 qualification in animal care (or similar), with many possessing undergraduate degrees. We also have dedicated dog behaviourists who offer FREE Doggy Development Assessments to test your dogs suitability.

Stella Hudson - Founder
Education: Level 4 in Canine Care, Behaviour and Welfare.

About Stella:
I specialise in pet sitting, dog walking, dog day care and dog boarding. I have over 10 years experience working with all types of dogs, dog grooming, canine care, behaviour and welfare as well as running a successful dog grooming business.
Sophie Stones - Manager
Manager
Education: Level 3 Diploma in Canine Care, Behaviour, and Welfare. First Aid Trained
About Sophie:
As a manager with a strong passion for dogs, I am committed to providing exceptional care and support for canine companions.
I have achieved a Level 3 Diploma in Canine Care, Behaviour, and Welfare, which reflects my dedication and expertise in understanding canine needs.
My love for dogs motivates me to create a safe, happy, and healthy environment for every dog I work with.
Leanne Quinney - Team Member
Education: Level 3 Diploma In Animal Management & Veterinary Assistant Diploma. First Aid Trained
About Leanne:
I have loved dogs since an early age and am passionate about their care and wellbeing. I have a Border Collie named Buddy who is my best friend.
I’ve completed my Level 3 Animal Management Diploma and my Veterinary Assistant Diploma, gaining valuable knowledge and skills. I have experience working with dogs in kennels and daycare settings.
I especially enjoy finding creative ways to entertain the dogs and keep them happy and engaged
Chloe Bennett - Team Member
Education: Level 3 Diploma in Canine Care, Behaviour and Welfare. Level 2 Diploma in Animal Care. First Aid Trained
About Chloe:
I have a love for dogs and will always treat your dog as if they were my own.
I have lots of experience working with dogs with different traits.
I am passionate about all animals and will always make sure they are in a happy and safe environment.
Liam Rutherford - Team Member
Education: Level 3 Diploma in Canine Care Behaviour and Welfare. First Aid Trained.
About Liam:
I have personal experience with dogs that I've grown up with, that I've gained knowledge of various temperaments and how to handle them with my past involvement at a kennels.
I like to keep myself active as much as possible as that is also beneficial when working with dogs.
